The Blacksmith’s Cottage is a fully renovated stone built cottage, and as the name implies was owned by the local blacksmith many year ago! The cottage has a cosy living room, spacious and modern kitchen diner, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is ideal for families with pets as it has an enclosed garden with outdoor seating, and free on site parking for your car. There are lots of additional extras too which make this an ideal base for your family holiday, including your very own luxury hot tub!

Sleeping up to five adults plus one child, The Blacksmith’s Cottage is the perfect retreat for families and friends to enjoy a break by the sea

Located in the beautiful town of Amble in the Northumberland coast AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), where you can find a marina, harbour, and lovely shops cafes and restaurants. 

Amble is known for its culinary delights and seafood is an obvious speciality of the area. There are plenty of places to visit in this area including Coquet Island (by boat), Warkworth, and Druridge Bay

Where can I park?

We have space for one vehicle on our private driveway. There are lots of streets around the property which are free and unrestricted for parking addtional vehicles

Can we bring our dog?

Pets are very welocme at The Blacksmith’s Cottage. Please contact us to advise how many and which breed. Please note there is a £20 per pet charge to pay

What is there to do in Amble?

There is loads to do in Amble, great bars, shops, cafes, and restaurants

There are some lovely beaches close by including Warkworth and Druridge Bay

You can take a boat trip to Coquet island to possibly see some incredible wildlife including puffins, Arctic terns, seals, and dolphins

The area is ideal for walking and cycling and there is plenty of history in this area including several superb castles

Where is a good place to eat?
