Our approach to management is modular. We will not be imposing overbearing contracts on you, but rather take the time to understand what you need us to help you with and seamlessly integrate our services with your existing workflow

  • Locating the right property

    Need assistance to locate that perfect holiday letting property? Just ask us for a bit of help

  • Renovation/conversion

    Great! You have secured that gorgeous cottage down by river. Now it is time to make it look as stunning on the inside as it does on the outside! We can help with renovating/extending your property to maximise it's potential and ensure it is safe and compliant for your guests

  • Bookings management

    Things are really moving along now. Your holiday let looks stunning by the way, but we now need some guests! We can show your property to it's best potential using our website, social media, mailing lists, and advertising on OTAs like booking.com and AirBnB

  • Changeover services

    Between stays your holiday let will need to be thoroughly cleaned, have linen changed, and be meticulously prepared for the next guests. This is one of the most critical operations to get right. Our cleaning teams are highly experienced in holiday let changeovers and can cover each and every changeover no matter what the day

  • Professional photography

    Never overlook the importance of getting your property presented in it's best possible light. This is an area where the professionals more than earn their pay! Great photography will gain you more interest in your property leading to more bookings and higher nightly rates

  • Compliance

    As a responsible owner it is vital to mitigate risk, and to take all steps necessary to ensure your guests have an enjoyable and safe visit to your property. We can take care of all compliance and maintenance issues leaving you (and let's be honest here) to do something more interesting!

  • Full management

    Managing a holiday let is time consuming and there are a lot of moving parts to consider. If you wish your holiday let investment to be totally passive (and why not? Your time is precious) you may wish to consider our total management package. Basically we do the whole thing while you get on with enjoying your life

Our Ethos

We launched Share the Moments because of our previous somewhat challenging experiences as clients of other management companies. We soon realised there was huge scope to offer a substantially better service ourselves!

Our pledge to you, our client, is that we will always deal with you fairly, transparently, and with respect. We will always do our very best to look after your guests and your property, and will act in your best interest at all times. Below are a few of the issues we have encountered and our methodology of addressing each one

The Issue: Being heard and understood by the right person when there is a problem

Our solution: All of our clients will have a named business development manager (BDM) who will be the primary contact for any issues experienced. Furthermore they are here to advise on developing your business to maximise revenue while ensuring guests are happy, comfortable, and safe

The Issue: Restrictive and overbearing contracts

Our solution: We have found some holiday letting companies will insist on you signing long contracts, and in some cases even restrict when and how often you can stay in your own property! We offer easy-in/easy-out contracts with just one month notice required to terminate. We do not believe in restricting the use of your own property. You are free to enjoy it as and when you like. We only ask you to use good judgement and make it available as much as possible in the high season when you will earn most of your revenue

The Issue: Inexperienced staff dealing with owners and guests

Our solution: Our BDMs have knowledge gained on the ground and are seasoned in all aspects of holiday let management. As well as being experienced holiday let managers we are also holiday let owners ourselves and used to dealing with issues from both perspectives, giving us a unique insight into this sector

FAQs

How and when will I get paid?

We will send you a report, usually on the last day of each month showing how your property has performed. We will transfer your payment by BACS to your nominated bank account on the same day as the report is sent

Should we allow pets at our property?

There is no simple answer to this question, but the choice is yours. It depends on several factors like owner preference, and the expectations of your typical guest. Especially in rural and coastal areas it is likely you will receive more bookings if you allow pets. You can always charge a damage deposit to cover any potential pet-related damage, and in some cases perhaps an enhanced nightly rate

What happens if we decide holiday letting is not for us?

You are free to cancel your contract with us giving just one month notice at any time

 

Can we stay in the holiday let or allow friends/family to use it?

Yes, of course! It is after all your property, and you should be able to enjoy it with your friends and family. Unlike a lot of the other management companies, we do not restrict owner stays. We would however advise you to limit how often you stay, especially in the high season months when you will be making most of your revenue
